Shobha  is a partner of D.M. Harish Co., Advocates along with her brother Anil Harish and they carry on the tradition of the Family Law Firm which was founded by their father Late D. M. Harish.

She is one of the first women Advocates to specialize in Income-Tax litigation before the ITAT, Bombay High Court, and Settlement Commission. Other areas of specialisation are Real Estate Transactions, Family Law, Inheritance, Mediation in Family Disputes.

Shobha has an academic interest in History & Politics. She is fascinated by the diversity of Cultures and Ideologies. She firmly believes in a pluralistic and secular society for the Indian nation.

She enjoys short vacations touring in the Indian & African Jungles.
