Devavrat started his career as a technology entrepreneur and founded Crimzoncode, a digital entertainment company that allows users to play mobile games (trivia) to win real money. Its flagship mobile game “TopQuiz” was scaled almost organically to 3 million+ users and was rated the No. 2 Trivia Game in India by Google.  The said company was wholly acquired by Nazara in 2019 and Devavrat was retained as a consultant.

Devavrat in his personal capacity has invested in few startups and uses his time to interact with upcoming entrepreneurs and uses his learnings and network to help scale their business’s. He also has a vested interest in his family business which is involved in commodity trading, public equity investments, real-estate and retail in India.

Devavrat currently has joined a leading mid stage VC fund called Iron Pillar Fund as an Entrepreneur in Residence. He will use his experience and network to help Iron Pillar seek new opportunities and help existing portfolio companies scale. In his downtime – he loves to travel and play a game of badminton.
